This major release brings many improvements and new features that significantly enhance the user experience.
New Features
New Dashboard replaces Profile Screen
The profile view has been replaced by a clear and structured dashboard. Key configuration options can now be viewed and adjusted directly from there.
Call Forwarding now available in the App
Finally available: Call forwarding can now be configured directly within the app – easy, fast, and intuitive.
Dial Pad with Copy & Paste and Cursor Support
The dial pad now supports copy & paste including cursor positioning – ideal for inserting phone numbers from other sources.
GSM Calls via Long-Press
GSM calls can now be initiated via long-press in the context menu.
Labels for Phone Numbers
Phone numbers, e.g. fax numbers, can now be labeled – providing more clarity and organization.
Reduced RTP Port Range
The RTP port range has been limited to ports above 50,000 – improving compatibility with firewalls.
Important Bug Fixes
Sign-out Issues (Partially Resolved)
Some causes of failed sign-outs have been addressed. Additional causes are known and are currently under investigation.
Password Storage after Logout Removed
Previously, the password was kept in the login field after logout to simplify re-login. However, this led to inconsistencies and has now been removed. A new feature to enable sign-in/out for calls only is currently in development.
Swyx:/tel:-Link Corrections
Various issues with the processing of tel-links (HTML codes, special characters) have been fixed.
Audio Issues on Samsung XCover7
Audio volume was too low – now fixed.
Incorrect Device Limit after Login
A bug in the SIP update process caused incorrect device limit messages – now resolved.
Crashes and UI Bugs
Multiple crash causes and UI issues have been eliminated – the app now runs significantly more stable.
Good to Know
A common feedback from users is the desire to sign out at the end of the day to avoid receiving further calls. While password caching was previously implemented to simplify re-login, it caused several logout issues. This feature has now been removed.
In the near future, we will introduce a dedicated call-only sign-in/out option in the app – without logging out of the account entirely.
