The SwyxPhones of the L7 series support the connectivity of a variety of headsets from different vendors.
As a rule, mutual compatibility is certified by the OEM manufacturer of the phones, in this case Unify, and the respective headset manufacturers. As the L7 series phones have not been available on the market for so long, tests and certifications by the hardware manufacturers are still pending.

- USB (cable) - Headset is connected to the phone via USB-A cable. Depending on the power consumption (e.g. hands-free system with accu), this can lead to problems with PoE operation of the telephones.
- USB (BT dongle) - The headset is connected to the phone via the enclosed BT USB-A dongle.
- USB (DECT dongle) - The headset is connected to the phone via the enclosed DECT USB-A dongle. Increased power consumption at the phone's USB port can lead to problems, especially if the phones are supplied with PoE.
- USB (DECT-base) - DECT base/charging cradle of the headset is connected to the telephone via USB-A.
- BT (direct) - Headset is paired directly with the phone via Bluetooth (BT-free speaking profile)
- DHSG/EHS - Electronic Hook Switch. Requires additional adapter cable (SK000036)
