New firmware V1 R2.8.0 for SwyxPhone L6X series available

SUMMARY

Swyx has released firmware V1 R2.8.0 for the SwyxPhone L6x series.

Please note that this firmware can only be used with a SwyxWare 11 or newer.

This version solves the following reported problem:

• Phone performance affected by conversation list, if the conversation list of the phone contains more entries than 150-200 users.

To update the firmware at your SwyxServer you have to perform the following steps related to the installed SwyxWare version:

Open the Server Settings within the SwyxWare Administration and select the tab "SwyxPhone Firmware Update". Within this configuration select the option "Get". Hereby the SwyxServer will contact the Swyx FTP server (ftp.swyx.com) which is configured by default and downloads the latest firmware version.To update the firmware at your SwyxServer you have to perform the following steps related to the installed SwyxWare version:

If the firmware version (V1 R2.8.0) is listed for all SwyxPhones L6x, the phones of this type will prompt for a firmware upgrade the next time the user logs on.
