Configuration of Swyx with gateways in order to connect to SIP Providers

Summary:

This article provides information on installing and configuring selected Gateways in conjunction with SwyxWare and SwyxON and different SIP providers.

Information:

With a SwyxON installation in a data center, it is possible to implement the connection to a SIP provider in the data center via the LinkManager itself (backend termination).
It is also possible for the gateway to register with a SIP provider and at the same time register with SwyxWare via a SIP gateway line (local termination).

In the second case, a manual for LANCOM gateways for connecting to the following providers is available at the end of this document:

• Deutsche Telekom, SIP Trunk
• Deutsche Telekom, Deutschland LAN IP Voice/Data (DIP/VD)
• ecotel, sipTrunk2.0
• QSC, IPFonie Extended Connect
