With the release of SwyxWare 12.40 Swyx supports the new Yealink T5 desk phone series. For proper operation Swyx provides a new firmware for Yealink T5 desk phone series (T53 / T53W / T 54W / T57W), version 96.85.133.8.

Required firmware for the support of Yealink T5-desk phones with SwyxWare 12.40.
The firmware corrects the wrong behavior of the T5- desk phones that occurs in certain cases.
- Fixed an issue with the renewing of an IP-address via DHCP
- Fixed an issue with the update of the presence status on the speed dials after the lost
of the server connection - An issue in uaCSTA mode (CTI support)- SwyxIt! displays call as connected although
call is still ringing - Fixed an issue that after plug-in a USB headset (or the EHS-USB adapter) to a phone
the display was frozen.
Known issue: In some specific scenarios/hardware combination the LEDs on the speed dial of an expansion module will not light (T57W & EXP50). The presence status of the related user is nevertheless shown on the display of the expansion module.
This firmware version is available on the Swyx Firmware Information Service FIS during the course of this day.
Downloading the firmware and distributing to all connected Yealink phones can be simply done via the Swyx Control Center SCC. All necessary steps are described in the Swyx Online Help
