NG Client connection types

Information about the different connection types with our NG Client Android / IOS

We recommend entering the FQDN for internal connections as this allows a faster availability query to be achieved.

Android

If you select the SwyxWare server variant you have the following options:

Automatic selection

With automatic selection, the connection is selected internally or externally automatically.

Here we recommend to enter the FQDN internally as this way a faster availability query can be achieved.

Company network

If you select this option, an internal Swyx Server is automatically searched for.

Internet only

This option only attempts to register via the remote connector.

If you select Netphone as the server, the options remain unchanged.

When selecting the Advanced / DeutschlandLan2 option, you have the following options:

Default

With this option Internet via Remoteconnector.

Automatic

Here the connection is selected automatically.

Swyxconnect100

Here the connection is only established via Swyx Connector 100.

IOS

If you select the SwyxWare server variant you have the following options:

Automatic selection

With automatic selection, the system first tries to reach the telephony server internally

Company network

If you select this connection type, only internal attempts are made to register the client.

Internet only

With this option, only a connection is established via the remote connector.

If you select Netphone as the server, the options remain unchanged.

When selecting the option Advanced / DeutschlandLan Swyx you have the following options:

With this option, the connection is established via the remote connector.

Swyxconnect100

Here the connection is only established via Swyx Connector 100.
