Please use the new and improved App "SwyxMobile"
The app "Swyx Mobile" has been removed from the Play Store by Google and no longer can be supported with updates! Please use the new and improved app "SwyxMobile" which is available now.
For existing Users this App contains the following new functions: Release Notes SwyxMobile for Android 2.4.1. The usage of the new app requires to re-enter the login details. The following answers help you to do the right preparations:
Where do I get the correct Server Settings?
For a working connection the correct server settings need to be applied. They are available here: Help Pages of Swyx Mobile for Android. Please ask your administrator about the correct settings!
Where do I find my username?
You will find your username in the settings of your App. See Swyx Mobile Help Pages.
Where do I get my current password?
If you do not now your password, please ask your administrator to reset the password for you. You will then be able assign a new password. Please note that in this case you have to also enter the new password into the other Swyx Applications!
What happens to the old App "Swyx Mobile"
Please de-install the old App "Swyx Mobile" before you use the new App the first time
How do I connect the new App with the Server?
Please tip on "Sign In" after you have entered the configuration data or change the Presence state in order to connect the app initially to the server. From this point on you will be reachable even if the app is closed.

Please notice that the link to the Play Store has changed due to release of the new app! The new app SwyxMobile is available under this URL https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.swyx.mobile2019. Existing links like the one in the Swyx Welcome Mail point to a non-existing page. The link will be adapted in the upcoming SwyxWare version 11.40!
