On 25 May, the new basic data protection regulation will enter into force and ensure a uniform system for the protection of personal data. All companies are affected by it and have to deal with these changes, because non-compliance can result in heavy fines.
The extension of consumer rights - such as the right of access or the right to delete personal data - requires far-reaching changes in the processing of personal data. These include, for example, their collection, storage or even deletion.
With its releases for SwyxWare (Version 11.20) and SwyxON (Version 1.20), Swyx has adapted the deletion mechanisms of the connection logs and trace files and thus provides you with a modified setup of the logs which enables you to use SwyxWare DSGVO compliant even easier.
To ensure that you are always on the safe side when adapting processes and handling personal data with the Swyx solution, we have also prepared a checklist for you. This will help you to fulfil the requirements of data transferability, correction and deletion as well as data transferability in the case of data subject rights information. This enables you to consider and process all DSGVO-relevant aspects.
