Swyx 14.10: Swyx Connectivity Setup Tool - Remote Connector certificate cannot be created.

We have released Swyx 14.11 for on-premises to solve the problem mentioned below in our SCST tool and made it available on our download pages.

We would like to inform you that in version Swyx 14.10 unexpected problems may occur when creating the Remote Connector certificate in the Swyx Connectivity Setup Tool (SCS-Tool).

Possible errors:

• The import of certificates does not work.
• The tool no longer responds when ‘Configure remote connector only’ is selected. In addition, the corresponding services no longer start automatically after a server restart.

Affected environments: This error occurs when the SwyxWare Server is running on a Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or 2019 with German language.

Immediate action:

• Close the SCST tool.
• Open the Windows command prompt and execute the following commands
• cd ‘C:\Program Files\Swyx\SwyxWare\’
• .\IpPbxConfig.exe /stop /y
• Then start the Swyx configuration wizard and follow the steps of the wizard to finalise the configuration.
