If an incoming call is to be answered automatically, this can be configured with the following setting.
After ‘Auto Answer’ has been activated and the change confirmed, the telephone automatically accepts all incoming calls to the configured extension number.
This means that the user does not have to pick up the handset or press the hands-free or headset button.
If a user has several extensions (in the example account 2 and 3 with extensions 54 and 55), these can also be configured independently of each other.
This also applies if CTI+ is used.
This setting can of course also be made directly on the telephone
Menu - Features - Auto Answer
This customisation is retained even after restarting the telephone.

Important: Please note that this change is also active after a user change!
If the user logs off the telephone and another user logs on to the same telephone, his ‘accounts’ are also in ‘Auto Answer’ mode.
The screenshot shows the configuration of a T54W with firmware 96.86.133.4, which may differ from other firmware versions or device types.
