Summary:
The use of SwyxIt! in a Terminal Server Environment makes sense only, if SwyxIt! runs in CTI mode. This article describes what registry key has to be set to force the use of CTI.
Information:
To force the use of CTI in the SwyxIt! client, the following registry key has to be set:
- 32 Bit Path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Swyx\SwyxIt!\CurrentVersion\Options
- 64 Bit Path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Swyx\SwyxIt!\CurrentVersion\Options
- Name: ForceCTIMode
- Type: DWORD
- Value: 1
Once the key is set, CTI can not be turned off by using the SwyxIt! GUI.
This setting applies to all SwyxIt! users on the terminal server.
