The SIP Trunk from Deutsche Telefon was first tested and released with a SwyxWare 2015 R40.3.0
Deutsche Telefon is offering a SIP trunk with user authentication. You have received information about UserID, UserName and UserPassword, whereas the naming may differ, or you might have only received UserName and -password. In this case, UserID and UserName are identical.
Platforms
The SIP Trunk from the Deutsche Telefon can be used according to the settings listed below from SwyxWare 2015 R40.3.0 on. When using an earlier version of SwyxWare, incompatibilities cannot be excluded and the use is at the user's own risk.
SwyxON
The SIP Trunk from the Deutsche Telefon is not suitable for central connection in the data center.
Configuration
During creation of the SIP trunk group, profile 'Deutsche Telefon (DE)' must be selected. If the profile is not included in the corresponding list, you can download the required CustomProviderProfiles.config for SwyxWare at the end of this article. For more information about using this file, see Configuration and Adaptation of SIP Providers via Provider Profiles.
SIP URIs
In order to assign incoming calls to the correct trunk, it is necessary to configure a SIP URI for the trunk. The assigned number block and the numberformat must be considered.
Example:
Numberblock: +49 231 9988776600 ... +49 231 9988776699
In this case, the SIP URI must be entered in the format 023199887766*@*.
To configure the session timer, in the windows registry underneath HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\Swyx\LinkMgr\CurrentVersion\Options two new DWORD values named SipSessionTimerIntervalSeconds and SipMinSessionTimerIntervalSeconds have to be created and assigned a value of 1800 (decimal). After creating these values, the LinkMgr service must be restarted.
Important: These settings will affect all SIP trunks.
