The EPOS Connect Middleware is required to operate EPOS headsets and speakerphones on a SwyxIt! or a Netphone Client.
In calendar week 39/2022 EPOS has released version 7.3.1. If you already have an earlier version of EPOS Connect installed on your PC, you will be informed about the new version and offered an automatic update.
UPDATESince 18.10.2022, the version 7.3.2 from EPOS Connect is available for upgrading, which solves the mentioned problem. |
WARNING
It is not recommended to install this update, because with EPOS Connect 7.3.1 the interaction between SwyxIt! and EPOS headset is severely disturbed, so that e.g. you cannot accept incoming calls on the headset anymore.
EPOS is working hard to find a solution for this problem.
Workaround
In case the update has already been carried out and problems occur, the previous version EPOS Connect 7.3.0 can be installed according to the following procedure:
- Quit SwyxIt! / Netphone Client
- Confirm via TaskManager that the ClientLineMgr has been terminated as well
- Close the EPOS Connect program
- Use TaskManager to terminate the following processes
- DSEAAgent
- DSEASDK
- EPOS Connect
- EPOSConnectAgent.exe
- Uninstall the following programmes via the Control Panel
- DSEASDK
- EPOS Connect
- Download EPOS Connect 7.3.0
- Install EPOS Connect 7.3.0
- Restart the PC
