If an older SwyxWare (version 13.xx and older) is updated to SwyxWare 14.xx, it is mendetory that all SwyxWare services must be stopped.
If the services are not stopped, an incorrect update can occur, which can lead to unwanted side effects in the operation of SwyxWare.
If the update is carried out incorrectly, two SwyxWare installations will be visible on the system (Windows Control Panel - Programs and Features):
A known effect is, for example, that the SwyxWare traces are not written correctly. This is shown, for example, by the server trace (IpPbxSrv-<date>-<time>.log) so that only the server call context ID is logged in the trace.

The following steps must be carried out to fix the not wanted behaviour:
- Backup the SwyxWare database
- Deinstallation aller auf dem Server befindlicher SwyxWare-Versionen
- Deleting the SwyxWare database via SQL Management Studio
- Restart the SwyxServer (Windows operating system)
- Perform a new installation of the SwyxWare 14.xx
- Run SwyxWare configuration wizard
- As part of the SwyxWare configuration wizard, the created SwyxWare database backup (under point 1) must be restored
- If necessary, it is also migth be necessary to run the SCST after completing the SwyxWare configuration wizard (depending on the system configuration and use of the SwyxWare Remote Connector)
