INFORMATION
Enreach has released a new firmware pack for their Enreach DECT 600 systems.
This firmware pack is the prerequisite for the upcoming feature “Advanced DECT Integration for Enreach DECT 600”, which will be released as part of Swyx 14.20. The features already included have no impact when used with Swyx 14.11 or older but will make the upcoming transition to Swyx 14.20 and the activation of the DECT integration feature much easier.
The package contains the latest firmware versions for all Enreach DECT 600 - and all SwyxDECT 500 - components which are approved for operation on Enreach DECT 600.
In addition to these preparations for the new function, various fixes, improvements and maintenance, this firmware package primarily addresses the following problems that have been observed in connection with the use of Swyx
- Fixed: Emergency calls are not possible if all channels are occupied
- Fixed: DECT 600S: Hanging up to end a call will restart the base under certain circumstances
- Fixed: Localization issue of call pickup notification text
- Fixed: Mixed line presentation on display with two calls on HS650, HS670, D510, D565
- Fixed: Wired Headset connection: No ring tone in headset for incoming call when connected to HS650, HS670 and D565
Know issue:
- Orange blinking LED at the base station even when the system is set-up correctly and is working properly. This blinking LED is an artefact of the upcoming advanced DECT integration feature.
Workaround: Open the Web Administration and click in the left menue on “Management”. Following go to the paragraph “Configuration” and enable the parameter “Configuration Server Address Lock (DE: Konfigurationsserver Adresssperre)”. Following the LED should be switch to steady green.
For more information about the functionality of the firmware Pack v.7.50.B0300 (v1) please refer to the attached release notes. Please note especially the downgrade instructions if you intend to downgrade a DECT BS 600 L to an older firmware version, e.g. to add it to an existing SwyxDECT 500 system.
If you only want to update/downgrade individual units, this can be done during operation. However, if you want to update the entire system to v.7.50.B0200 (v1), please note the information on using a maintenance window in the release notes.
The following article (Important Notes on the Firmware Update) gives you additional information for installing this firmware.
