SUMMARY
Enreach has released a new firmware package for its DECT 600 Multi- and Microcell systems. The package contains current firmware versions for all Enreach DECT 600 components and for the SwyxPhone D510/D565 released for operation on Enreach DECT 600 systems.
This firmware pack supports the new "Swyx DECT Integration for Enreach DECT 600" with Swyx 14.21, as well as the standard installation (without Swyx DECT Integration) with Swyx 14.00 and higher.
Firmware version 7.70.B0200 (v1) will be available for download from Enreach PartnerNet from 11.08.2025, see Enreach DECT 600 Firmware Download or will be offered in the Swyx Control Center of Swyx 14.21 if Swyx DECT Integration is already activated.
INFORMATION
This firmware version complies with the latest technical requirements of EU Directive EN 18031, "Cybersecurity in Radio Equipment." This is an extension of Article 3.3 of the Radio Equipment Directive regarding cybersecurity (RED 3.3).
Compliance with RED 3.3 is mandatory from 1st of August 2025 for all radio-equipped devices newly placed on the market in the EU. An update of already installed systems is recommended.
Additionally, it contains significant bug fixes related to general system stability and the recently introduced Enreach DECT 600 integration:
- Fixed: Import/Export of the Local Phonebook not working
- Fixed: Call Collision issues. This issue could cause over time insufficient resources, missing or one-way audio, or other critical system instabilities (600S/L)
- Fixed: Unneeded display element during a connected call: Call Set-Up icon is not updated (HS630/650/670)
- Fixed: Swyx DECT-Integration – reprovisioning credentials for the registriation fails until the system is rebooted.
- Fixed: Unwanted reINVITES as session refresh (D600 S/L)
- Fixed: No final smoke tests are possible in production. (D600 S – Fixed with 7.70.B0201)
For the initial set-up of the Swyx DECT Integration for Enreach DECT 600 or the migration of an existing standard installation, please read the documentation carefully (Swyx Online Manual). Please note that all base stations must be updated to 7.60.B0201 or higher before you start the integration. Following you can update the handsets via the SCC.
Known issue:
- Swyx DECT integration: Repeaters must still be set up and updated in the Admin Web-UI of the Enreach DECT 600 S/L
- Standard (non integrated) installation: Orange blinking LED at the base station even when the system is set-up correctly and is working properly. This blinking LED is an artefact of the Swyx DECT Integration feature. Workaround: Open the Enreach DECT 600 Web Administration and click in the left menue on “Management”. Go to the paragraph “Configuration” and enable the parameter “Configuration Server Address Lock". Following the LED should be switch to steady green.
For more information about the functionality of the firmware Pack v.7.70.B0200 (v1) please refer to the attached release notes. Please note especially the downgrade instructions if you intend to downgrade a DECT BS 600 L to an older firmware version, e.g. to add it to an existing SwyxDECT 500 system.
If you only want to update/downgrade individual units, this can be done during operation. However, if you want to update the entire system to v.7.70.B0200 (v1), please note the information on using a maintenance window in the release notes.
The following article (Important Notes on the Firmware Update) gives you additional information for installing this firmware.
