Beta 2 for SwyxIt! 14.20 R2 available

SUMMARY

The new SwyxIt! with integrated auto-update function and the activatable beta channel provides Enreach with a new flexibility in software distribution that was previously not available in the Swyx platform.

New functions can now be shared with interested partners, customers and users at an early stage of development, feedback can be collected earlier than ever before and, due to the early phase, can also be taken into account directly.

The beta 2 package consists of a new SwyxIt! 14.20 R2 Beta 2 and can be easily distributed via the SwyxIt! beta channel without admin rights. Prerequisite is an installed, released SwyxIt! 14.20, a server update is not necessary.

Beta 2 will be available for automatic download from Monday, June 30, 2025.

INFORMATION

The new SwyxIt! 14.20 R2 Beta 2 contains various improvements, a new improved call control and the frequently requested Personal Phonebook edit functionality:

• Personal phonebook
  • Add, change and delete entries in the user's Personal Phonebook
• Reviewed UI
  • New high-contrast color scheme, especially in Dark Mode
  • Replacement of the ribbon header
  • Labeling of the menu icons
  • Replacement of some outdated icons
• New Call Control 2.0 - Static line concept with dynamic, context-sensitive call control
  • Display of the recording status on the active line
  • Audio controls in Call Control
  • Display of the configured caller ID (extension) on the line element
  • Better visualization of caller name and number
  • Pop-up for rarely used actions
• In-app notifications (“Toasts”) - New in Beta 2!
  • Display of incoming calls with the option of forwarding them directly into Voice Box, rejecting them or transferring them immediately to another extension
  • Call notification for calls for group members with the option to accept or ignore the call

Participation in the beta phase for SwyxIt! 14.20 R2 is open to all users. Prerequisite is an installed SwyxIt! 14.20.
Activate the option ‘Get beta version’ in Settings/App settings. As soon as the beta version or an update of the beta version is available, it will be installed automatically. The user does not need admin rights on the PC.

If unexpected problems occur with the beta version, you can simply deactivate the switch in the settings - the released version SwyxIt! 14.20 R1 will then be installed again.

Please note that this is a beta version. Beta versions of Enreach are not supported as part of the normal support processes! Please send your feedback or bug reports exclusively and gladly to the Enreach Beta mailbox: beta@enreach.de

You can do this simply by clicking on the feedback button in the top menu bar in the new SwyxIt! There you can also find a button that refers to an (anonymous) survey in which you have the opportunity to rate the new functions. Both feedback buttons are only available in the beta version.
