SwyxIt! 14.11 Release 3

SUMMARY

The new features and improvements in the new SwyxIt! 14.11 Release 3 are mainly based on user feedback from the last few months and an intensive Beta phase.

The new SwyxIt! 14.11 R3 and the new MS Teams Connector, which is also available, are distributed automatically and can be installed without admin rights. Prerequisite is an installed, released SwyxIt! 14.10/14.11 or a Swyx Connector for MS Teams 14.10/14.11 - in this case a server update is not necessary.

INFORMATION

The new SwyxIt! 14.11 R3 contains mainly UI/UX changes based on user feedback from recent months and internal usability studies. The highlight is the introduction of the drag & drop functionality familiar from SwyxIt! Classic for intuitive call handling by the user.

• Drag&Drop of incoming or active calls (‘lines’) to calls on hold (line keys ‘on hold’), speed dial keys, phonebook entries, or journal entries to connect the call to another subscriber. (Note: It is not possible to initiate conferences via drag & drop in this version).
• Active notification when starting SwyxIt! if a user cannot be reached due to an activated ‘Immediate call forwarding’ or an activated DND status.
• Revision of the status window
  • The status text can now be edited directly, Save and Cancel buttons have been removed
  • The edit field for the user's status text now remembers the last 5 entries, making it easier to quickly set status texts with recurring content manually.
  • Info if the configured presence status (e.g. available) differs from the current one (e.g. in a MS Team call)
• Tooltip for inactive buttons in the call control element to make it easier for the user to understand why the function is not currently available.
• When an e-mail is generated from the call journal, the ‘Call for’ information is now also added to incoming calls.
• Start a chat with a contact from speed dials or phonebook.

The new SwyxIt! 14.11 R3 and the Swyx Connector for Teams 14.11 R3 will be automatically made available to all users of a SwyxIt! 14.10/11 or a Teams Connector from 27.02.2025.

If a SwyxIt! or a Teams Connector is not updated automatically, please check the installed version first. Versions lower than 14.10 will not be updated automatically!

If this is the case, first update your Swyx server and then the corresponding SwyxIt! to Swyx version 14.11.
