SwyxDECT 500 Base Station Firmware v5.11.B03 Released

The information in this article applies to the following products:

• SwyxPhone D510

SUMMARY

Swyx releases the new firmware v5.11.B03 for DECT 500 base stations and corresponding SwyxPhone.

The firmware files can be found in our Partnernet: SwyxDECT 500 Firmware Download and will be available within the next day.

Attention: If you update from version v3.x it is absolutly mandatory to make a intermediate step via a version v4.x. Please read the attached release notes carefully.

INFORMATION

Important bug fixes were made on the following issues:

• ESTOS LDAP query often fails
• Dialing from Phonebook in CTI+ Mode is not working
• No muting on HS when CTI+ is enabled on HS fixed now
• Bad audio under some rare conditions

Please note that if the connection of the base stations to SwyxWare is lost for more than 30 seconds, e.g. due to an update of SwyxWare, the handsets are still displayed as registered, but incoming calls can no longer be delivered and no outgoing calls can not be done. In this case please restart the base stations.

It is recommended to perform the firmware update of the DECT system in a large maintenance window or after the end of service at the weekend, as the update may take some time depending on the system size until all devices are updated.

Please inform users that they place their handsets in the charging station at the end of duty.
