SUMMARY
Swyx releases the new firmware v5.30.B02 for DECT 500 base stations and corresponding SwyxPhone.
The firmware files can be found in our Partnernet: SwyxDECT 500 Firmware Download and will be available within the next day.
Attention: If you update from version v3.x it is absolutly mandatory to make a intermediate step via a version v4.x. Please read the attached release notes carefully.
INFORMATION
Besides some general maintenaince fixes the problem was solved that in case of a longer loss of connection of the base stations to SwyxServer the handsets showed in the display that they are still logged in but calls could not be transferred anyway.
Note: If a handset is in CTI+ mode, a call transfer from the phonebook to a number in canonical format (+49xx) fails. This is due to the nature of pairing in CTI+ mode.
Solution: Do not store the phone numbers in LDAP server in canonical format. If you use e.g. a LDPA server from ESTOS/C4B, have a carefully look in the documentation. You can configure that phone numbers are stored in a "dialable" format (incl. leading zeros and public line prefix). If necessary, use a separate LDAP node for your DECT system.
It is recommended to perform the firmware update of the DECT system in a large maintenance window or after the end of service at the weekend, as the update may take some time depending on the system size until all devices are updated.
Please inform users that they place their handsets in the charging station at the end of duty.
