IMPORTANT!

Please note the changes regarding the emergency call functionality!

If you have assigned the numbers 110 or 112 to internal users, this assignment will be ignored. 110 and 112 are always treated as emergency numbers by Swyx if the corresponding location is configured in Germany.

Overview of the most important new features in this version:

• Remote Connector for Yealink (SwyxON)
  With this version it is possible to connect Yealink devices to a SwyxOn tenant without an additional site-2-site VPN connection (without VPN or SBC gateway on the customer side).

    Parallel connection of telephones via OpenVPN and via customer-side VPN gateway to a SwyxON tenants

  • Please note that as of this version, the assignment of a Yealink device with Feature Pack license to a user is only possible if the target user is also assigned corresponding licenses.

• Extended emergency call functionality for Germany

  • Leading '0' (outside line access) when making an emergency call (110/1120 in Germany) is no longer required.

  • Existing configured or licensed trunk channel limits are ignored. The call is always delivered!

  • Any configured call number suppression is ignored. The outgoing call number is always signaled! If more than one external trunk is configured and available, preference is always given to the trunk whose assigned location matches the location of the emergency caller.

  • If the user has not configured a public phone number, a valid phone number of the SIP trunk used is signaled to ensure that the call is not rejected by the provider.

• Enhancements
  • Simplified port forwarding configuration
    The port forwarding configuration for the Remote Connector Service can be carried out by changing a configuration file instead of registry keys.
    
    • IMPORTANT: Registry keys that were configured for RemoteConnector port forwarding in previous versions will be ignored after the update to 13.30 and must be reconfigured with the file "CPE_ippbx_cpe.rcconfig".
